Pope Francis's encyclical on the environment, “Laudato Si: On Care for Our Common Home” was released on June 18. In English, Laudato Si can be translated as “Praise be to you,” and is quoted from a popular prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi, who is also the patron saint of ecology.
