In her catechist development article Catechesis Today and the Catechist, Dr. Carole Eipers writes, “Faith grows slowly". The General Directory for Catechesis reminds us that "catechesis is also a gradual activity." (88) How can a catechist honor the slowness necessary for catechesis in a world that is defined by speed?
