Using Data to Create Equitable Classrooms: Processes and Creating Indices with Dr. Jeff Todd

Session Description

Veteran math teacher and school data analyst, Dr. Jeff Todd, discusses the issues involved in creating equitable classes for the school year. Whether you are unsure about working with data or a crack spreadsheet analyst, you'll learn to create indices that capture student characteristics and help place them appropriately. Another consideration in creating equitable classrooms is how to navigate the legal and compliance requirements of schools as well as the social and emotional needs of students. Working with data, compliance, and student needs is complex. Dr. Todd shares his 20-year experience helping schools create classrooms that fostered success for all students.
